-「溫柔的巨人」- 

這位歌手叫做伊瑟瑞·卡瑪卡威烏歐爾(israel kamakawiwo'ole) (IZ)，土生土長的夏威夷人，夏威夷音樂家。

從很年輕就顯露出音樂的天份，日後成立樂團，專輯也非常成功，

然而1997年，因體重過重引起的健康問題，不幸過世，那年，他只有38歲.... 。

不過所留下來的音樂，至今仍被用於許多電影、電視節目、影集和廣告的配樂。

偶然在新年的第一天，看著紐約時代廣場 (Time square) 的跨年轉播，再度傳來這熟悉的音樂與歌聲。

雖然<Over the rainbow> 以及 <What a wonderful world>這兩首曲子早已大名鼎鼎，很多著名的歌手都分別傳唱過，

然而，IZ把這兩首歌結合後，卻有著這令我更喜歡的詮釋方式。

是這動人的旋律、輕快的烏克麗麗、以及再吸引人不過的嗓音，

當倒數後廣場撒下滿天的繽紛，人們彼此歡欣慶祝、相互擁抱，隨著音樂搖擺著...

那一刻，好感動。 What a wonderful world!!
